Most new clients feel scared for their first session😪 The apprehension usually comes from the 'fear of the unknown' 😲
➡️What will she make me do? ➡️What if I'm too weak? ➡️What if I'm not fit enough?
However, every single client i have had for their first session has left feeling great! Why?? 💪😁🎉
Because the first training session is absolutely nothing to worry about. 🙌
The way I conduct a first session with a new client is more like a 'movement screening session', ill get them to perform some exercises to work out what level of complexity they can do and their range of motion/mobility. 🧘
The workout will be fun and all done within their current capabilities.
The reason I do this for the first session is because we both need to know the clients start point so I can devise a way to progress and improve on the current base level. Its also an opportunity for me to see any areas which could maybe be tight and offer some home stretches to complement training. ✔️
Clients always leave their first session with me feeling a sense of accomplishment, confident in their ability and knowing they have worked hard.
That's the way it should be 👍😁
